Isla de Janitzio is the main island of Lake Patzcuaro in the state of Michoacán, Mexico. The town of Janitzio is famous for the butterfly fishermen who are skilled at lowering their butterfly-shaped nets to catch the local famous cuisine “pescado blanco”.
