The unit is controlled by the BeoSound 5 controller, a rather large “remote” with a 10.4-inch XGA LCD and an aluminum scroll wheel. On the back end there’s a 500GB BeoControl 5 music server running Windows XP Embedded with internet connectivity and patent pending intelligent playlist creation. Naturally there are outputs and inputs galore, and it’s not just for audio: the box pumps out DVI-I and HDMI, and can play back plenty of video formats.

bad dream, very bad dream

I had a dream about my mom dying this morning sometime around 7a.m. Apparently I had been on vacation and when I came back I went to my moms house. I saw some people in the house. I don’t remember who they were, but I asked where my mother was they said she would be back in a few weeks. I found that odd because my mom will never leave for weeks and if she did she would have told me even if I was on vacation. So after a few days of waiting for my mom to come back I asked someone to tell me. I angrily told them to not bullshit me and tell me where she was. They told me she had been killed. I asked how and they said my mom got in a fight with some lady so she hired someone who worked for the government to have her killed. As soon as I heard the news I started crying hysterically. I laid in the hallway on the floor curled up in ball waiting to hear from my mom. I cried so much I didn’t have anymore tears. I didn’t know how to deal with it. That’s the worst pain I’ve ever experience even though it was a dream.

As soon as I woke up I was going to call her, but I didn’t want to tell her about my dream. She asked how I was, told me she loved me, and talked to me as if I were her 2 year old little baby, as she always does. She then told me she had a dream about me around 7a.m. that my sister and I got lost in some jungle. They found my sister, but I was never found. She never saw me after that. I asked her “so I died in your dream” and in a very sad voice she said “yes.”

I had to fight tears from pouring down my face because I knew my voice would get shaky and I didn’t want her to hear me crying. I then told her about my dream. She kept asking me what that mean that we both dreamt of each other dying. I told her it meant nothing at all.

I’m soooooooooooo happy we both woke up from our dreams. I love my mommy. Look how cute she is.
